Summary: Jared Padalecki is furious. His father gave the position of Vice President of Padalecki Oil to his older brother/rival, Jeff. Jared is desperate to make his father as angry as he himself is. Jared comes up with the perfect plan. He’s going to marry one of the Ackles, the family that continues to be a thorn in his father’s side. Not just any Ackles, but a male Ackles. Has Jared bit off more than he can chew, however, when he meets the force of nature that is Jensen Ackles?

I just got back from the movies with my brother.
we saw Avatar in IMAX-3D.

It is easily the most beautiful thing I have ever seen on screen. Simply gorgeous. The best/easiest way to describe this movie would be a futuristic Pocahontas.

iMDB's summary is: 145 years in the future, ex-Marine Jake Sully is offered the chance to travel to a distant planet inhabited by a primitive alien race, Na'vi, in order to help exploit the planet's resources. He falls in love with Neytiri, daughter of the tribe leader, and the Marines end up turning against him. Now he must choose sides...join the Marines or stay and protect the Na'vi.

It's 2 1/2 hours long, but it actually went by rather quickly, for me at least. (and c'mon, 2 1/2 hours of staring at Sam Worthington is time well spent imho.

I can't say enough good things about it. I absolutely loved it, and I def. recommend seeing it in 3D, just to get the whole experience. in 3D Pandora (the planet) really comes alive, and the attention to detail is awesome (at night, there's even 3D bugs and fireflies and it's just gorgeous).

Sure, the plot is a bit predictable (like I said, think of it as Pocahontas) but I think everyone has to see this movie.

I hope to see it again, or at the very least, get it on dvd next year.

It's snowingggggg. And about damn time too. (Being born in January=my love for snow) even though it's estimated to snow about 10inches

and as for Christmas cards, those in the US should've gotten mine yesterday and/or today, so woot \o/ hope you guys like'em *g* I've gotten cards so far from: (names up top...lj is fucking up EVERYTHING.)

So here's why i'm ranting.

Today was my last day of school for christmas break (\o/) and so just to chill, I spent the entire afternoon at my friend Jess' house (from 5pm to 11:45, just got home pretty much). And it was all fine and good times, as it always is with my friends. And then around 9:30-10ish, my other friend Vanessa says she invited this guy Jose to come over (that brought the total of people there to 10).

Now see...Jose...i've fallen in and out of like with him for pretty much all of high school, but I've never acted on it (we've all had hs crushes) both last year and this year, we've flirted heavily, but we stopped when he got a gf back in late October. they broke up about 4weeks later

ANYWAYS.
Jose came and sat on the other end of the living room since there were so many people. Once people started to leave, it was down to 6 of us. my friends Jon and Vanessa laid together on this love seat thingy. My friends Jess and Will laid together on one sofa, and then Jose came to lay with me on the other. We essentially cuddled from 10 to when I had to leave at 11:45. (Hell, I even dozed off on him at some point) Like I was curled up and he had his arm wrapped around me so I laid my head on his chest. and by the time I was leaving, I had my arm wrapped around him, my head laying on his stomach, and his other arm was resting on mine like subconsciously drawing circles and shit on it.

K, srsly? today in school I pretty much wanted to throttle him b/c he's so annoying and 12hrs later I'm falling asleep on him?

And I was texting my friend Corinne the entire car ride home freaking out, and she told me to just go for it, what do I have to lose? But that's the thing...I have him to lose. how awkward would it be if I asked him out and he said no or w/e? hell maybe he doesn't like me and was just friggen letting me use him as a human pillow idfk. (since my other friends who were sitting together are just that, friends, nothing more)

granted, it's totally pg-13. but still, I'm proud. Because I haven't been able to write anything for about a month. I have a half written 30snapshots in my notebook that pretty much calls for me every day, but I can just never write it. Writers block sucks so much ass it's not even funny. But whatevs. I wrote. I'm happy.
I have no idea where this came from. I read the prompt and my muse woke the fuck up and demanded it be written. It came out a lot more angsty than I expected...but oh well.

12 days to Christmas, woot! \o/
I have my Christmas cards stacked up on my desk, those'll be sent out tomorrow, so most of you will get them during the week :D

My mom and I set up our tree on friday while watching Brokeback Mountain. because as I told Maria, nothing's better than a gay friday night.

Speaking of Maria, she's asdfghjkl amazing.
She sent me the most awesome thing for Christmas, and it's totally hanging on my wall now ♥♥♥ (and no, i'm not cutting this)

-Yesterday was my best friend Will's birthday, so he had an 80s themed party. In my other friend's garage. and it's been freezing these past few days. So suffice to say we were all freezing our asses off even with little mini heaters in a few spots.
But still so much fun. (I'll post pictures if I ever get around to uploading them)

Well, that's about it; this past week has been pretty uneventful --but I haven't gotten sick, so that's always a plus--. And I miss Show, but what else is new? I start Christmas break this friday, so I'm excited for two weeks off ♥
